Dr. Errol RummelDr. Errol Rummel received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is Director of Rummel Eye Care. In addition to family eye care, Dr. Rummel's expertise is in the care of patients with difficult/unusual vision problems. This includes adult & pediatric eye muscle problems, amblyopia (lazy eye), neurologically-related vision problems (due to stroke, head injury or multiple sclerosis) and low vision care for visually impaired patients (due to macula degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinitis pigmentosa).

Dr. Errol Rummel has been nominated by NJ Family Magazine as one of "NJ's Favorite Kid's Docs". He's one of the few optometric physicians in the USA to have achieved Clinical Skills Certification (Level 3) in Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, by the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and in addition is also Certified in Vision Therapy and Vision Development by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

His practice at Rummel Eye Care, cares for children and adults with a wide range of eye problems, from routine eye care, eye exams, eye disease, and contact lenses, to the care of the most difficult and unusual vision problems, including pediatric learning-related vision problems, and amblyopia ("lazy eye"), to the care of geriatric patients with visual impairment not correctable by medical care, surgery or regular eye glasses, (due to eye disease like macular degeneration). He's also Director of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation and Visual Perception Clinic, at the Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation, where he treats children and adults with neuro-related visual problems. Dr. Rummel has developed visual impairment related equipment and clinical techniques used by low vision optometrists, and by rehabilitation hospital based occupational therapists.
